Dogecoin DOGE vs Cardano ADA

Nothing ventured nothing gained, an old saying it is. Cryptocurrency was what I chose to venture in. Once hearing about it and feeling directed from the Lord to even get into it. I have done lots of study about it and this is the future no matter if we like it or not. Being retired I do have the time to venture out and find out about things. Tax time is upon us and being retired we get to an age where we are required to take a set amount of money out of our IRA accounts each year. Being in a position of not needing the money, I do have extra to spend on this new venture I praise the Lord for that even. Because I am able to be in a bit more risky things as all my other investments (IRA) etc are doing fine, I have used a 50/50 type approach for myself that others might not want to do.

Purchase of two more cryptocurrencies

Dogecoin DOGE and Cardano ADA were the two coins I was looking at. I ended up just purchasing some of each coin. Now Dogecoin is considered more a meme coin so this would make me have 4 meme coins in my portfolio and with adding then Cardano ADA this more an alt coin with a product. I added some of each of these to my portfolio. The reason for this was that both these coins have been submitted for ETF's and were mentioned by Trump. Dogecoin was submitted along with BONK and TRUMP coins. Bonk is another I do have for a meme coin. Originally I was only looking and purchasing crypto that was 50 cents or under to even be included into my portfolio. That did change a bit with Cardano, it was over the 50 cents but not a dollar. My only coin that I did go over on was XRP purchased recently, which is my highest priced crypto. Again though it will be an EFT with all that have submitted it plus Trump mentioning the coin for reserve or stockpile.

Since the market was down it was a good time to buy, plus some of the other stocks I purchased during a bull run so had dropped from what I purchased them at, so I bought the dip as they call it. Anyway I have what I call my bluechip stocks and my meme coins hahaha those long shots. I do plan to put some XRP when it gets an ETF into my IRA and possibly others that may get ETF's. Not much but some is the plan.
