IRA and Cryptocurrency Stellar Lumens

Can I put some of my chosen stocks in crypto in my IRA?

I am newer to the cryptocurrency world but do have my chosen stocks. In watching things going on with the USA government where my crypto is concerned, I am aware of the many filings for ETF's on my crypto. I did write about some even meme coins were submitted on some. What I basically purchased were the lower cost stocks that were  basically in the top 50 cryptocurrencies. I studied the different stocks and there were things I did pay attention to after being lead to get into crypto, things mentioned by President Trump. The thing he did mention several times were American made crypto and being the leader of the cryptocurrency world. I knew to be even able to put the crypto that I have in my IRA that they would need to have ETF's approved.

In my weekly watching I often would do news searches on ETF's being approved. Well yesterday 3/17/2025 finally I was able to put one of my stocks into my IRA. I had decided to news search ETF's for each individual named stock I had and found that Stellar Lumens XLM was out there thru Grayscale and the stock code of GXLM, a Stellar Lumens Trust account. They don't sell one share of XLM at a time, they have what they call a basket of 100 shares for each one share thru them that you purchase. Stellar was the only one I found at this time but I was excited to add a bit to my IRA yesterday. The price was a bit higher than what I would purchase myself but I am sure that is the fraction they get for managing it. It was worth it for me to be able to put it in my IRA. Cryptocurrency is considered risky so I don't spend that much really but it added a second place I will be able to use.

Of all the crypto I do have I would love to put at least three of them in my IRA and the other two would be XRP and Hedera HBAR. Once Ripple XRP's lawsuit is over I think these ETF's will be approved. I keep watching to see if any of the others go thru also, it could be possible that like HBAR would be approved before XRP even.
