The Trump coin came out before Trumps inauguration and this was done on Solana SOL an American crypto party, I am not sure you call them businesses yet with what they offer they are more than just a meme coin. President Trump had made it clear he wanted America First places even regarding crypto, What will that mean for Bitcoin BTC and Ethereum ETH? Well I can't find that they are American places so they could loose out is my guess, meaning not promoted and possibly have taxes?. The image is from an article called Top U.S. Based Crypto Coins. As you review the list you will notice that Bitcoin BTC and Ethereum ETH are not on the list. So the question becomes will Trump even back those two places or mention them?
Other news is that here yesterday they will test the process with our new SEC with the filing mentioned in this article: TRUMP, BONK and DOGE proposed for ETF in new filing with the US SEC, so as you can see it appears Trump might be using this to watch their procedures. Other news from SEC is that neither Bitcoin or Ethereum are SEC companies in this article: Gensler says the SEC has 'never said' that bitcoin and ether are securities
So we have to wait and see what happens with cryptocurrencies I am sure it will take some time regarding the meme coins but it is a good place to start as meme coins affect more the common Americans not the bitcoin holders. Will bitcoin crash? We all have to wait and see. If they are not part of the SEC then they certainly could. To have a nameless coin as owners, I doubt that would get SEC approval.
